Katherine Loprete Blog #1

Once I graduate from Stockton I want to go to Graduate School for Occupational Therapy. I would like to go into Pediatrics but I'm not sure what environment I want to be in.  I am a visual learner that seems to be the way I retain information the best. I remember new information by writing information multiple times and associating it with information I already know.  I am hoping to learn more about diversity and other cultures. Since I'm going into the health care field I am interested to learn how health equity is being used/can be used to make health care more equal for all.  I think about my Ethics and Teamworks class, we talked a lot about health equity and it makes me upset that not everyone has equal opportunity to health care.  I'm always the worst at thinking of facts but I am partially deaf in my right ear and I'm an only child.  Other things about me are that I love going to the beach, hanging out with my friends, and spending time with my family.
